Which AI Assistants does this work with?
We’re currently focused on ChatGPT and Claude, but Treasury Dialog currently works with any AI Assistant that allows connecting a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server. In the case of both ChatGPT and Claude, you are required to have a paid subscription to the assistant to connect Treasury.
How does Treasury provide Investment Advice?
Treasury offers a carefully screened list of ETFs and Stocks we call Eligible Investments. We also make Model Portfolios we call ‘Collections’ from our Eligible Investments and will provide a personalized recommendation for asset allocation within the collections based on your age. Once a year we update our list of Eligible Investments and review our users’ portfolios to ensure they are suitably diversified.
What does it cost?
Investing is Treasury is commission free and we don’t charge a management fee. This means if you invest $100, the full $100 will be invested in the securities you’ve chosen. In the future we plan to introduce a premium, subscription tier of Treasury Dialog for additional functionality. Our brokerage partner, Apex Clearing Corporation (Member FINRA, SIPC) charges occasionally charges fees in certain circumstances, more more information see: https://treasury.app/apex-fees
What if the AI proposes an investment I don’t want to make?
The AI (Claude or ChatGPT) acts as an analyst and assistant. It can suggest trades, analyze portfolio performance, and set up orders, but it cannot execute a trade without your final "Confirm" click. You are always in control.
How do I know my money and investments are safe?
Your money and investments are held in your name at Apex Clearing (Member FINRA, SIPC), the same custodian used by Betterment, SoFi, and many other leading digital investment companies. Treasury is a Registered Investment Advisor and is a Fiduciary to our clients.
How quickly will my investments be placed?
Investments are queued when received and then are placed once daily at market open on the following trading day. So if you invest on Tuesday the order will fill Wednesday morning when the market opens. We’ve built Treasury for long term investing, so don’t focus on having the fastest order execution.
